| The policies being sat forth of late by the compassionate conservatives, has them looking more like Democrats than the Democrats. Bush signs medicaid perscription plan. Bush had pitched a plan to send social Security money to Mexicans, living in Mexico. Ridge, of homeland security fame, is now asking to allow illegal aliens to be given citizenship, again. These actions have been explained as an attempt by the Republicans to take the issues away from the Democrats, and in doing so, bring about the end of the Democrat party. If you have to become more Democrat, than the Democrats, in order to beat them, what will we be left with? Republicans that are now Democrats? If the issues of the Republican party are valid, why the change? I say stick to the moral and valid conservative issues of the past, and let the Democrats be damned.
