Loaded Winchester brass w/Hornady 130Gr. SSPB. The best load I have ever shot in a T/C Contender .75 " @ 100yds. Great expansion even @ 100 yds. with the Single Shot Pistol Bullet

this load I developed useing a slide rule calculator. I then double checked it with the lyman 45th. edition. I developed it in 1985. According to the preasure calculator it has 39000 psi. It is for use in the 14" barrel contender and is realy accurate. The down side is the recoil, it takes practice to control flinching. I have used this since 1985 in the same frame/barrel, and it is still accurate. Do not try to put this in a leaver action, it wont fit! Start at 33.0 grns. and work up to a comfortable load for you.
